You may be right, but for some that never switches on too mate, as for us not having a prayer, it honestly depends, because until that switch does go on, his current performance and consistency isn't high enough to move him out of our reach.

Moot anyway as don't think we will even have an interest in the lad

Do you think he’s at a much higher level than Richarlison or Andre Gomes? They dont seem to be too good for us, yet Id rather have Richy than Martial. Gomes too.

My fear would be Valencia come back in for him
He was successful there and the fans loved him

The difference in our playing style and the improvement in Gana , Siggy and others is unbelievable since he started playing and he’s not fully up to speed yet

It all boils down to the ££££££ as always.

If we offer 25m and a German club match it, it will come down to who offers more wages and what the agent gets out of it.

As was stated if Gomes decides we are the risk free option then he may decide it’s Everton or no one
He knows he can’t risk another failed move at this stage of his career
At the end of the day , the agent works for him

Oh the agents work for the players??

Of course they do.

It all boils down to ££££ nothing more nothing less.

We obv offered him a very lucrative package to come here in the first place

If say arsenal come in for him at end of season and offer 10k a week more then he heads there...
 
I hope we can agree a permanent deal for Gomes and target a high calibre right sided striker/winger of similar levels to Richarlison.

We are not that far off having a very strong team, let alone the starting 11.

Astonishing difference from 12 months ago.

He wasn't even in the starting 11 at the starting the season, something like one start the first seven games.

Martial is a player who when talked about it's still very much in the potential for him to be this or that - much like we used to talk about Barkley.

A talented player, but in 4/5 years at united under 3? Different managers, he's never permanently nailed down a starting place, never mind a starting place in the role he actually wants up top.

He's actually firmly in the category of player we could aim to sign on what the lads achieved in the game and he's so far played at.

He's 22 and played 150 games for United, contributing a goal or assist virtually every other game. I'm a fan of Barkley but to try and compare the two is absolutely ridiculous. Martial is a potential superstar, playing under Mourinho doesn't suit him and he doesn't seem to like it, but if he was available the superpowers would be in for him and he would have no chance.
