....ah, so Gueye did have a slight groin strain on Tuesday.
No mate. Always the way to claim injury when something else is happening behind the scenes.

For example ozil , no idea what it has been but he hasn't been injured for the past couple of months. Something has gone on behind the scenes and they claim he is injured to make up for it.

Much like piennar here with his unspecified injuries that kept him out for unspecified periods of time.

The difference between Silva and Pellegrini is that Pellegrini didn't walk into a club who had previously spent 150 million on players the year before.

Any perminent manager of Everton should be where we are after over 300 million spent In the space of 2 years. Plenty of discussion about the ins and outs of that but saying Pellegrini below is is a measure of his ability doesn't take Into account the sheer amount of investment this club has made in 3 seasons. Whether it was good investment or not is the discussion but a team spending 300 million and being 8th is underachieving
So you're basically saying we should hold Silva responsible for the fact that other people wasted a load of money but not hold Pellegrini responsible for the fact that he wasted a load of money. Makes sense.

....sorry, Ken, there was an element of sarcasm in my post.

But my point is how is it they can spend that sort of cash yet we are Apparantely wealthier than them as a club and have sold Rom and Stones for over £115 million in the last 3 years whereas they haven't had that luxury?

Either they are paying peanuts in wages or they are bypassing FFP whereas we seem terrified of breaking the rules.
Firstly they haven't signed Gomez. Secondly the figures stated for Anderson and Yarmolenko are inflated and the Arnautovic fee includes conditional add-ons.

Also, if you look at the last 3 seasons we have net spent more than them. According to Transfermarkt, which is very reliable, we have spent £155.68m vs their spend of £106.94m.

West Ham signing Gomez for £40 million and still trying to get Batshuyai on loan until the summer.

Say what you want about the Dildo twins but they have done a decent job there.

Blagged them a new ground for free

Invested money in players

Seemingly avoiding any threat of FFP

Before I get jumped on "why you jealous of west ham lad????" Im merely pointing out not only are the top 6 pushing away from us but we really need to start either a. Ignoring FFP and take the fines or B. Give Brands a kick of the backside and get all the gash out the club to free up wages for improvements to the squad

West Ham

Gomez
Arnatovic
Anderson
Lanzini
Yarmolenko

Vs

Tosun
DCL
Richarlison
Walcott
Bernard

Criminal that they have much better attacking options than us
Their attacking options are so good that they've managed to score 5 fewer goals than Everton.

But we surely have recouped much more in cash than them in player sales. We sold Rom for £90 million and Stones for £40 million alone.

Im pretty certain they offer similiar wages to us so again im at a loss as to why we seem so hamstrung by FFP yet they are free to throw money around.

According to Sky.......
West Ham agree loan deal in principle with Chelsea for Batman
Chelsea also agree loan deal with Real Betis but prefer to sell Batman to Everton
Make of that what you will......
