Anyone have either Wilson or King from Bournemouth?
Both are better than what we have.

I'd say they are better footballers in their positions than tosun and DCL.

I've been shot down in flames for recommending both these over the last two years.

Wilson reminds me of an Andy Cole, just a proper finisher. Right place right time every time

And King has similar attributes to what Lukaku had when he was here.

The incoming business has been Twilight zone levels of unreal.

Big ask, but if the next 4-5 signings he makes all work to the same level of success, then that's how you break into that cartel at the top like spurs did.

Its a big ask and realistically hes not gonna get them all right all the time.

The manager must also take a massive chunk of credit also. Hes got most playing at a very high level, the football is what we want to see and the results are coming.

Massive game this weekend, a defeat would of course burst our bubble a little, but and yes, we have been down this road before, its a good time for the club.

We have a great DoF, a manager who is certainly currently exceeding my expectations, a group of players who look hungry, even with some of them its a hunger for "bigger" things, hunger is hunger, we can use it and an owner who isnt afraid to back us when needed. Not to mention some Stadium news, sometime, soon, maybe.

But despite all that, we are a million miles off from where we need to be, its not gonna happen overnight, its going to take a min of 3, 4 years and thats in a total perfect world, but at least we appear to have the right people steering us there.

Soz abar waffle.

The strides we've made in the last 6 months have been monumental..

Couple of good windows and we will be contenders..

it was that interview with the PSV chairman about him that had me buzzing, it also gave me a bit of faith that moshiri is for real as well otherwise Brands wouldn't have come. from what the PSV fella was saying loads of clubs have come in for brands, but if they won't put in place exactly what he wants he just says no ta

Funny thought came to me when reading that interview the other day, in hindsight the disaster that was Walsh could prove to have been the catalyst needed to change certain things around and give Brands exactly what he wanted to get him here

All pretty much spot on mate so waffle allowed

Don't know too much about him but only 22 and a decent scoring record.

We are certainly being linked with more exciting names these days!

I like both of them but they don't really improve us too much now and both are 26 so they aren't players who figure to get a lot better in the years to come. For me the best young striker I see us having a chance to get is Luka Jovic. Also heard good things about Maxi Gomez at Celta and that Piatek could has come out of nowhere although I'd like to see it for a whole year from him. Just generally I'd go for a player who is still in that 21-23 range so we could maybe grow them into something more.

Wilson at 26 is prime!!

40 Mill and we'd get 8 years of goals out of him..

Already proven his worth at Bournemouth

The problem is he's in his prime and unlikely to improve very much. And for the record he has never scored double digit goals in a season. Granted he's on pace for almost 20 this term but that is currently a huge outlier and would be like throwing big money at Darren Bent after one of his good seasons.

I didn't mind Wilson before our game, thats when I realised he'd never be good enough to be a player here because instead of trusting in his ability to get past us he decided the keep falling over trying to win a pen instead (probaly because the one chafe he did have he blazed well over from 8 yards). He's nowhere near the desired quality, he's not all of a sudden going to fire us into the champions league is he?

Thing is this fella has bigger clubs looking at him now, forget Spurs tho, cant see them spending the money at the mo, least if they do we can bump the price up at least

Not sure who was after Bernard but I’d be suprised if we were the only ones , he chose us, digne has turned down our lovely neighbours more than once apparently and Mina had Man U looking at him. I think brands and Silva have a plan and the players beleive them and sign after speaking with them, they sell the club and project very well
