Can we keep away from United rejects please. If they can't seriously get into that dross why should we be paying millions for their garbage?

I don't see what the obsession is with signing players from them. Yes we need a midfielder and left winger, but are there no other options in the whole of world football? Let's settle for Depay and Schniederlin... Barely kicked a ball since last year.

Because there is something wrong at the club. Mourinho was speaking about the bad atmosphere. These were class players 18 months ago and will be class again.

If you can't see the difference in calibre of getting a Gibson and Neville for example over Schneiderlin and Depay, and just clump them as united rejects then thats mad.

Angel Di Maria was also a United reject btw

Up to standard:

Lukaku
Williams
Coleman
Gueye
Barkley
Bolasie (being generous)

Finished at end of season:
Barry
Jags
Baines(?)

Potential:
Deulofeu
Davis
Dowell
Galloway

Underperforming:
Mori
Mirallas

Turd:

Everyone else

I'd pop Baines in the keep category and flog Mirallas, but otherwise agreed with this.

Depay on loan could turn out to be shrewd business, and I'd like Schneiderlin for about £20m while we're there. Two very capable players, and there's no shame in not fitting in at United.

Schweinsteiger
Rooney
Memphis
Blind
Schneiderlin
Mata
Januzaj
Carrick

Linked with all of them this season. As much as I'd like to see Memphis and Schneiderlin in particular happen looks like we'll have to take these United links with a huge cargo boat of salt.

Though if we did bring those 2 in, plus a keeper and CB, that'd be a cracking window.

Everton consider Memphis Depay January loan bid with Manchester United willing to let winger leave
Everton boss Koeman is interested in possibly adding Depay to his wing options

Everton are considering a January loan swoop for out of favour Manchester United winger Memphis Depay.

Ronald Koeman is keen to work with the gifted 22-year-old, who rose to prominence as a teenager in his homeland with PSV Eindhoven.

United are reportedly willing to allow Depay, who has only made six appearances for Jose Mourinho's side this season, to leave when the transfer window opens.

And Koeman will be at Ajax's Amsterdam Arena tonight hoping to watch the winger feature in the Netherlands' friendly clash with neighbours Belgium.

Depay has been accused in some quarters of having an attitude problem, but sources at Old Trafford refute that; insisting he is a consistent and hard-working trainer, and that renowned disciplinarian Louis Van Gaal would never have signed him if he had been concerned with his mentality.

It is thought Koeman believes he could unlock Depay's undoubted potential again via the Dutch approach he is attempting to implement at Goodison.

The sticking point could be whether United want to let Depay join a potential top six rival, with Serie A club Roma also interested in the forward.

Last year while in charge at Southampton, Koeman admitted he tried to sign Depay before he joined United for £25m in June 2015.

He hoped the Dutch connection could convince him to move to St Mary’s, but the deal failed to come off.

Everton investor Moshiri's words were encouraging - now he has to continue delivering with action
“We tried to bring him to Southampton but he wanted to stay for one more year at PSV," he recalled.

“When United went in for him this summer, we knew at Saints that we had no chance. When they come, we have no chance."

Depay scored 50 goals in 124 Eredivisie appearances for Eindhoven.

I keep saying we should go for him on a loan with a buyout clause in the summer.

He's a potential superstar.

He's a potential superstar.
He reminds me of McGeady or van Der Meyde, they had a real underlying skill, but could very rarely produce it. He seems an unhappy
soul, maybe he's got woman trouble, not like us eh?

do you think inaki williams would be a good purchase

doesn't seem like he's hit the ground running this season with just 1 goal in 11 games so far but he seems to have potential
Bilbao won't sell anyone for less than their buyout clause unless they want to

His is around the £40m mark, good player but not worth a fraction of that price

...I haven't seen us linked to Schneiderlin. If the manager wants Depay that's all that matters. He looked good before he went to United, RK will ultimately be judged by who he brings in so I have no real view on targets.
