Well, ive been looking, Mertens contract expiries in 2018, there was talk around October/November about him about to sign a new contract, but nothing came of it, the latest quote regarding it I can find is this :

Dries Mertens admits he's not yet settled on a new deal with Napoli.
The Belgian is now inside the final 18 months of his current deal.
Il Mattino quotes Mertens as saying “there's nothing yet" regarding his new contract talks.
The attacker has scored 15 goals already this season.

I really cannot see a player like Mertens coming to Everton yet. He is some classes above our players.
If he did it would really be a sign to other players out there we mean business!!! So go get him.

Agreed. Not quite there yet but id windmill for days if we nabbed Mertens
