love love this

I enjoyed the first couple of minutes, but couldn't get past the feeling that it was on the point of getting going and never actually doing it. Tastes, eh?

I had the opportunity to see these guys in a live workshop last year, q and a session, about 20 people in the audience. Amazing. One of the tunes that stuck with me (I'm sure you'll know the bassist).

Our local county school board has been running an arts magnet school for about thirty-five years or so, with one of the leading music HS programs in the country.

My longtime friend and partner in crime Ace Martin was the major domo of the jazz band for most of those years until his retirement. He has been specializing in mixing Zoom performances during the plague times, and this popped up not long ago on my FB. This is the DA first call alumni band, basically. Sharing because I'm caring. Watta band. These guys all went on to professional careers, one way or another.

They're playing Gordon Goodwin's Count Bubba.

One more... I looked at the lineup on the DA link and thought, "where's Bob?" I guess he was working that day.

Here's Bob. This is one of my favorites.

How we took getting together like this for granted. We won't in the future. Not for awhile, anyway.

Saw a jazz trio playing in a hotel lounge a few years ago. It sounded like exceptionally talented musicians being pushed down the stairs.

when I was younger I was an avid watcher of Parkinson but there was one regular guest who would have us racing to the off switch, Cleo Laine.
