Saw him against Palace and looked so far off, inevitable he picks up injuries and no guarantees he'll ever be worth selecting again.

Not yet ready to write him off completely but it's looking all but certain - noones fault but what a massive waste of money he's turned out to be

Problem is whilst he and Delph are not to blame for their injury record them being missing has meant extra pressure has been put on the likes of Doucoure and Allan to play every week in a tight scheduled season which has likely contributed towards their muscle / stress fracture injuries.
Yup, nobody is to blame, but it's time to plan without Gbamin. It's a huge pity for everyone, not least him, but we need players on the pitch who, preferably, aren't made of sawdust. Draw a line under this one. He needs to be treated like a Formula 1 engine that keeps breaking down. Scrap heap. Replace at first available opportunity.

took time but they finally say it

Jean-Philippe Gbamin is not in Everton’s matchday squad for tonight’s Premier League match at Brighton & Hove Albion after sustaining a contact knee injury during training at the weekend.

Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the 25-year-old Ivorian midfielder will miss the clash on the south coast, with Gbamin set to undergo a scan in London tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury.
