Bit silly. He's got experience in both Europe and two top leagues in the Bundesliga and Serie A. Won the Europa League. Will be a good signing. I do wonder if this hints at a formation change too with two inverted attackers similar to how Palace used Olise and Eze.

I think we need 2 new full backs if we do that or we will have no width at all.

If we took this opinion on every deal we’d never have signed Arteta/ Pienaar , clearly talented as Napoli only signed him last season for £30m,some players just don’t fit certain clubs, far too many blues give up on players before they’ve kicked a ball

Well yeh. I've seen him play loads.

Last season he played the equivalent minutes to 4.6 games.

….but makes no sense (to me) that we’ll spend actual monies on a no10 who can play winger when we’ve just spent actual monies on Ndiaye, a no10 who can play as a winger.

Not given up on him fella, just said what I've saw doesn't inspire me with confidence, if signed he will get every chance from me and I'm sure most of our fans. Love him not just to prove me wrong but rub my nose in it too. Can't be fairer than that.
