Joel's distribution is awful, his constant punching instead of catching annoys me.

....I get the impression that RM feels this lad can be the long-term No1. Mind you, he does talk with confidence about all his players. Regardless, this bloke has everything you need to be a top goalie - size, strength and athleticism. Appreciate the howlers, but I don't mind him.

@toffeejack I think he said something along the lines of Atletico would be lucky to get him as he could fit in anywhere. Still was dumb to mention other clubs, but its better than outright saying that Lukaku would be a great fit for Atletico.

Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles believes Romelu Lukaku would shine in La Liga amid reports continuing to link him with a summer switch to Atletico Madrid. It has been suggested that Lukaku could move to Spain on loan as part of Chelsea's deal for Diego Costa.
He is a very physical player and very strong. He is very difficult to stop, an animal. He is intimidating, like a beast.He is a complete forward.
i wasn't being totally serious because i knew it was twisted a lot by the media headline. it is his former club and he probably did say "i'd rather him be at everton like" but they haven't published that part.

I've said it in the past I would like us to sign a new back up keeper.
Although I would then want to loan out Robles to a lower EPL or La Liga team for the season, I think a season of been first choice will really work wonders for him and help us see where he's at.

There is absolutely no way we would play Robles as first choice keeper. A huge risk that is. We shall loan him out to a Championship side for a season to see if he is up to the job albeit at a lower level.

Always hate it when we get our own players essentially touting our targets or even existing EFC players for moves to other clubs.
You wouldn't get this at Liverpool or Chelsea. Part of it is also to do with media bias and how Everton is viewed/perceived. The media need no encouragement, I wish some of our players wouldn't play into their hands.
