You are right, this is a chance for the club to make a statement e.g. Not sell stones. But I fear if we do sell him others as you say could quickly follow. I have resigned myself to the fact that miralles is going but I really fear McCarthy following suit if stones is sold.

When Martinez has spent big on a player, he's spent well. Lukaku and McCarthy.

In the eventuality of selling Stones and Mirallas, we'd have big money to spend on replacements.
