In truth though, we are in a different position to Barnsley, and Barnsley were willing to sell. We don't wish to sell, and another club (with different circumstances again) are trying to unsettle the lad, it would appear. We did not publicly unsettle Stones prior to signing him.
There are some differences to the situations I suppose.

Yes it is, as Barnsley need to sell to exist - Sadly wrong but true
At the moment we don't need to sell as we have the TV revenue, plus Martinez wants to build a squad that can challenge a CL Place and this is built around Stones at the back.
My issue is that Chelsea are buying Stones through the media, this unsettles him as he wants to play on the big stage and temptation to succeed takes over.
They wave the money, and it gets to the point were we have to say yes as keeping Stones is pointless as his head has been turned.
Both issues are not right, but guess it is the way of the world
