Yeah, that thought had crossed my mind too but trying not to allow my nervousness to get the better of me!

Ffs just come back from holiday where I was nice and chilled about all the speculation or the lack of incoming transfer rumours and taken me all of 3 days to get back to the slight knot of worry in my stomach

Think I am being paranoid tbh LL. Well, hope I am.

Perhaps the FA have told him to shut up or face charges, more so if Everton have lodged a complaint.
For those of you new to the forum this is an annual event regarding our best players 'done deal' being the buzz phrase, harking back to the days when we had to sell to buy.
Times have changed but alas not the agenda driven opinions of some posters on this forum.

We still have to sell to buy, theres probably about 6 teams in the whole league that dont have to sell to buy.

I still like Mourinho overall then, done us a good service in winding up the kopites since arriving in England

True.

On the scale of things he still has credit with me on that score and particularly for Denba Ba Day.

Look at the hurt and suffering he saved us ;)

Plus he did sommat similiar with United over Wayne a couple years ago.

That's how he rolls :)

There is nowt personnal.

Even the record on transeers thing is a myth. Been involved twice, selling Alan Ball and buying Latchford

True that. Always thought Cottee was a record for some reason, but he wasnt. In fact, pretty sure Villa have been involved in more record transfers than us, although I expect at least one was paid in groats. Or corn.

Can't remember clearly but seem to think Ball @ £110k was a record between two British clubs & that Law fro Italy to Utd beat it by £5k.

But the thrust of your point is still right.

I did pop onto Wiki, and Villa beat the record with Andy Gray from Wolves, and Platt to Italy. Bemused by both if I am honest. Cant remember Platt at Villa. But I guess it was before football was invented.

Oh, the other one was some lad in about 1905. For some corn, like I thought.
