John Stones transfer saga

Yep but can the club afford to turn doqwn a bid over 34 million, I'm not sure

"No intention of selling" means just that.

Or "we will only sell for a ridiculous amount"

Every player is for sale, and Chelsea either have to pay way over what they want to, or do one.

I think we will get some kind of statement now.
Those latest developments are quite clear to me.

West Brom tweeted to their fans yesterday that no bid had been accepted for Berahinho (??) - think our media relations team could grant us the same courtesy ?

EVERTON 'NOT SELLING STONES'

Some further developments concerning John Stones, with a top Everton official telling us this evening that they have "no intention" of selling the defender.

Sky sources understand the Toffees rejected a second bid from Chelsea this afternoon and the Premier League champions have apparently been told twice that the player is not for sale and is staying with Everton.
