John Stones transfer saga

He did an hour or so before the deadline I thought.. Waved his loyalty bonus or some jibble...

Yep, you're quicker than my edit was! Anyway, ultimately Rooney & Fellaini both wanted to go. Stones isn't rocking the boat - but this concerted media effort is certainly designed to unsettle him to do so.

Darren Gough was on talksport earlier, reckons he knows people close to him apparently through Barnsley. Said if he does go he would want to stay up north.

Posters turning on our most successful ever captain for giving his opinion on what figure the club will accept.

*shakes head

Here we go again, Ed.

Kevin's only "crime" is that he judges Everton by higher standards than most on here do.

If Kevin Ratcliffe is "negative" then you can bet your boots there is sommat to be negative about.

He has earned the right to criticise mediocrity at our club.

:)

It's not his only crime. He also says "jajelka" instead of jagielka. Personally I'll never forgive him.

Think that the thing people have a problem with is the way he goes about it. Saying stuff like "Everton can't AFFORD to turn down £30m"... which quite demonstrably we CAN, if we so wish... And linking it to the Rooney and Fellaini situations, as if to prove his point, when they are utterly different scenarios.

don't get this thing about not being able to critize former legends, you absolutely can if they talk nonsense, which ratcliffe does a LOT.

sometimes footballers can be boss players, but are actually divvies
