Its like Chinese whispers on here and in the media - everyone in the media sticking their tuppence worth in and an explosion on here - I always thought it was against the rules to tap players up this saga is well past that stage now!

It's irrelevant whether Stones "wants to go" or not. He is tied-in to a 4-yr contract.

LFC had same issue with Sterling and they played it right ie Sterling aint leaving unless we get a massive offer. We need to do the same (PS £30m - £35m is not "massive" in this context)

Rio Ferdinand has told Stones that he should join his former club Manchester United, but that will not have any bearing on the player or Chelsea’s bid.

What on earth!!?!? Really? Rio Ferdinand's off-hand comments aren't going to result in Chelsea totally abandoning their plans to replace their captain? What is the point of that sentence? I'd say Rio's remarks are more a dig at Terry .......or vice versa.

I think yourself and quite a few other people on this forum need to understand what 'tapping up' is because there has been no evidence of 'tapping up' in this whole saga. Tapping up is when one team approaches a player without the knowledge or permission of that player's current team.

Chelsea as far as we and everyone else is aware have not done this. Making comments in the media is not tapping up, whether it be Mourinho, Terry or Ferdinand.

If tapping up had been going on then you can rest assured Everton would have reported it.

Agree it's not illegal...just not a way that any decent club would go about it's business, as Martinez has said.

Fairly sure someone on the Chelsea side did admit to contacting Stones side.

Problem is that everyone does it so nobody reports it.

Anyone who post on here regularly knows I post sporadically. I hear things from a mate from time to time as his uncle is a driver for the club, I said in here a while back about how some of the players weren't happy with his training. I spoke to the mate again tonight and he said his uncle had mentioned a few things to him

1) firstly I will get this one out the way as it is in the Stones thread. Basically he got a call off stones to pick him up before the Villarreal game, spoke to him on the way to the game. He said he would like to play for Chelsea but wouldn't force a move and had a meeting with the manager on Monday. As nothing has happened I assume he's probably staying or we would have let Chelsea know a deal could be done and another bid would have come in.

2) basically the problem I mentioned with the players and training hasn't gone away. Up to 8 first team players want rid of Martinez. Distin spoke out about what the players feel are naive tactics to hold onto the ball and practice very little defensive drills. He got froze out and let go.

The rest of it was basically Coleman and Delefeuo have struck up an unlikely friendship and McCarthy still being upset about his contract. People don't have to believe the information, I'm not saying I believe it, just something I got told I thought I'd pass on

Before the Villarreal game? the players drive in themselves don't they?
You're right about Coleman and Deulo though but I think everyone knows they have a solid friendship.

Have you been right about other things mate? ive been off this for a while so havent seen ur previous posts!
