I love you really, but your relentless talking bollocks does get tiresome after a while
I suspect ( well, hope ) that one day you'll get a proper job and we'll hear less from you !!

I agree with you that Rooney was a sadder story. I was just acknowledging that I understood were jinks was coming from.
I'd disagree the club's position had nothing to with it though. We basically lived in 14th-16th for years until Moyes came in.
Totally agree, mate.
Just think Rooney is a player you build your team around.
Whereas Stones is a quality player whose name you basically leave in permanent ink on the team sheet.
He played in a team that conceded 3 goals in his only game at the U21 Euros. Of course he doesn't have everything. He's never even been tested against top European teams and people are comparing him to Varane.I see a very good young player. Composed on the ball and starts moves off. But he doesn't 'have everything'. He just doesn't.
You said last 3 years you utter melon.
Plus, yes, Lukakus fee wasnt all upfront, same as Fellaini, neither is any transfer done between English teams apart from the Torres and Carroll transfers.
Pay attention doggy.
The hype with Stones is unreal and slightly embarrassing from our fans.
Ergo you build a team round? Who is going to come in and be as good?

Three years prior to lukaku puchase year you melt
It's a combination of his age, his potential and the message it would send yet again.
He's a very good player, who's young and makes mistakes.

By build around I mean everything in the team goes through them, Which typically has to be a midfielder or an attacker (sorry just my opinion).
As for potential Stones replacement, it's too depressing to think about. We could certainly bring in a couple of quality CBs if we got decent money for him, but neither would go onto be as good as what Stones will.
As far as I'm aware the only bid or interest is Chelsea's 20m bid. Links? The hype? Are you for real? Just hype that gets Utd, City, Barca , Chelsea all chasing him.
