John Stones transfer saga

The forum has basically gone into meltdown because another club has bid for one of our players - Which we have rejected

Chelsea are perfectly within their rights to bid for Stones, however derisory we think their (initial) bid is - My god I'm sure we've made some derisory bids over the years

There has been no indication that we are going to sell him, and no sounds from the player himself about wanting to move.

Not sure what's being debated here - Until somebody comes in with a bid which is accepted it's basically a non story.

If we can't fume then what's the meaning of life!?

It's gonna get worse mate. Much much worse. They'll be back in with a higher offer. There's no danger of that.

I think they'll go to £35mil tops this window. Hopefully, we don't accept it, Stones doesn't make noises about a move, and we keep hold of him. I'd say accept nothing less than £50mil this summer. He's worth more to us than any record transfer fee.

Stones won't force a move, if he goes it's because of the board and the fanbase would turn on BK.

Kenwright will be on his knees begging stone to hand in a transfer request once Chelsea up their bid to the point where it's impossible to reject.

Go on then. What does he lack?
He gets pulled out of position way too often and he still gets caught flat footed from set pieces into the box.

I dont see what the dispute is here: to contradict what i've said would suggest he's the finished artice. He isn't.

They can offer every bloodied Ruble they can get their crook hands on - Until we accept a bid it's a non story

Was just pointing out that it will get worse on here. The higher the bids get, the more disagreement and hyperbole there's gonna be.

As for it being a non-story, then, well, it's quite significant. It's not a tabloid rumour. Chelsea just made a bid of 20m for one of our players.
