I would agree that the figure I put in (£20-25m) is an insult but the counter argument is that he is still very young and wont reach his full value until he's 25 or so.
I would never want to see him sold but the reality is that we are never going to compete for the league and major honours unless some sugar daddy is mad enough to buy in and spend the odd billion so one day he is going to want to go and win honours.
Let's enjoy him whilst he still wears the Royal Blue and hope for a good few seasons from him yet (making him captain soonish might help!)

We're looking between Rio Ferdinand and David Luiz money for the lad. Anything less than £30m and our Club is a joke. The lad will be one of the best defenders in the League, even the World and he'll be Englands best CB for a decade plus. Personally i want at least £40m for the lad, he's that good, but whether we get that is a different story.
