That was a very impressive performance today. With everything that has gone on to put in a display like that shows any non believer what we have been saying for months.

THIS LAD IS THE NEXT GREAT ENGLISH DEFENDER

When Cesar Azpilicueta stole in on the right to try to haul Chelsea back into the game, Stones also got in the way of the shot to deflect it into the side-netting.He showed calmness and maturity beyond his 21 years and his partnership with Phil Jagielka blends youth with experience - the latter twice putting in vital tackles on Costa in dangerous situations for the home side.

Or to put it more simply, he was proper boss.

Now that performance shows he is worth at least 50m. His price will just go up and up with performances like that. Hope the release clause isn't true but if so it should be 50m minimum.

By the end of the season we will have money to buy a new stadia - joke I want us to keep him as long as we can!
