Yeah I wouldn't be disappointed if he was. Take him out of teh firing line a bit, hopefully he'll show the right attitude (which I think he would) to work hard and earn his place back.
.....after a number of pundits had criticised Stones in recent weeks there was a stout rebuke from Danny Murphy on this morning's radio. Murphy said those pundits don't know what they are talking about, Stones is already a top player and will go on to be the best defender this country has ever produced.

We should have got another CB in the summer so he could have been rested at multiple times throughout the season. Played a daft amount of football in the last two seasons for a young lad. Same with Rom.
Madness to go through a season expecting a 21year old to be a first choice centre half every week. We had no way of knowing how RFM would be either. Galloway far too inexperienced also.
Another Distin type of signing/journeyman/experienced PL player should have been brought in.
