Could see him going to City in the summer tbf. They've got the £££ and Guardiola would love him, plus he wouldn't have to move.
Dunno, reckon pep would try for lewandowski.Could see him going to City in the summer tbf. They've got the £££ and Guardiola would love him, plus he wouldn't have to move.

Guardiola has signed a three year contract. He is going to City to get immediate success.
Can he trust John Stones at this point to go into a team and not concede goals at Premiership or CL level ?
I am not so sure he could ?
Would you prefer a twenty one year old John Stones or a twenty one year old John Terry ?
If you play in the back four you are judged by your defending first and your football second. I think
that at the moment John Stones may have it the other way around. I do believe the manager and
coaching staff are not blameless in the regard.
True, but a player making silly mistakes or bad defensive decisions could do a lot of damage to a footballing team. It's about the way Guardiola plays though. He even wants his GK to be as good on the ball as most midfielders.
Hes alway trying to sell him that ashton. Bad ballbagNeil Ashton just said that Stones will most likely be Guardiola's first signing. Said on tv his article about it will be up in half an hour. Makes sense to me, hope City stump up the cash. £40 mil on up I'd sell.
Have you ever watched a Guardiola team? Given a choice among Mangala, Otamendi, Demicheles, and Stones, he would hesitate a microsecond before spending £50 million on Stones. He demands that his central defenders play exactly the way that Stones does, mistakes be damned.True, but a player making silly mistakes or bad defensive decisions could do a lot of damage to a footballing team.
That is what has been happening at Everton and in no way is it the fault of John Stones alone. The keeper and defenders can all share the blame but if you are going to pay 40m-50m for a player you need to be able to rely on him to defend properly.
In a way what is currently happening to John Stones may benefit him as a player. He may have begun to believe his own publicity, it would be hard not to.
The mistakes he has made may make him refocus and get back to the form of last season and earlier this season.
