Bye bye Stones. I'll always remember you for crying in a car park after handing your transfer request in.

I remember him for running off in the Derby when we were getting bartered
The first time I remember seeing the £100 million mentioned was in the press, along with RK is the No. 1 target, the Friday before SFC's last game. Thought it was the new ruthless EFC trying to unsettle RK but now think it more likely it was RK's agent trying to play us against SFC. The big question was did this figure include the sale of Rom.That's what I am thinking too. PAlace, West Ham and Leicester are Already offering £15 - £35 million for players, and if u think every top half 'll club has around £50m effectively in transfer fees, why are we thinking TV MONEY + Moshiri + player releases= £100m? Where did this figure come from anyway?

Spat his dummy out last season after he didn't get a move to Chelsea. Has never withdrawn his transfer request and awful at times last season. We now have a complete overhaul of the club and it appears he still wants out to chav city?
F' him.
If he truly thinks he can do better than Everton then he can jog on. Leicester and indeed Wales tonight have shown that you need guts and to throw yourself into every challenge to be a winner. He has loads of talent but does he really have the application to be a winner.
If he leaves thinking he can join a ready made side, the answer is a resounding no.
We're not top of the pile - even with this money.

Calling him a Judas already are we?
What money though? We're still selling to buy apparently. It's a crock.
No we're not.
We're selling to be able to increase the wage budget within financial regulations - well, that's one reason.
The other is that we've been crap for the past two seasons and players aren't fans and won't wait forever. If both Stones and Rom said they wanted to stay, we wouldn't sell.
However, they both want out. And we can stand to bring in a total of approx. £110mil (gross) from those sales.
Personally I'll remember him as being probably the brightest and best young English talent to play for our club since Rooney
Good luck John, but still think you could have made it at a big club like R M or Barca.
