John Textor

Unless he has a deal in place already waiting on reaching an agreement with us.

If he sons his palace shares before reaching that then the way Moshiri is he could end up with nothing in the premier league.

Makes sense to arrange the same of the palace shares but dependant on getting the agreement to buy Everton in place first.

Kinda like being in a housing market chain.

There is also a possibility he buys Everton, and puts pressure on the PL.

It probably helps flush out interested parties in his shares.

That does not suggest anything is anywhere near imminent

Well reports today suggested it could be as late as January, but Parish addressing what will be done with Textors shares and why he is looking for a club to run himself suggests that he is actually looking to sell up at Palace, which he would of course have to do before getting the keys from Moshiri.

He cannot sign an agreement to buy the EFC shares until after those shares are sold. Or he and Moshiri run the risk of EFC breaching league rules.

The "significant control" definition is very broad and includes "indirectly" and "by contract" within it. By having a contract in place to buy the shares he obtains significant control indirectly. Hence he needs to sell the shares first

We agree mate.

Basically what I'm saying is that it's all well and good hearing from club mouthpieces but Parish himself has got no reason to lie. So it sounds like Textor is at the very least looking to sell his shares in Palace.

He's been trying to sell his shares for near on or more a year. This is nothing new. He's spoken to several Championship clubs too before Everton. Still not sold his Palace shares in that time 🤷‍♂️
