I've just been in the convenience store on Muirhead Avenue, I think its called Best One (near Tso's Chippy) and they have got Aussie Whites in. £14.99 a bottle. Looked like they had about six on the shelf.

…..it must have a new supplier as it appears to be making a welcome comeback. I have an idea where that chippy is if it’s the one on the opposite side to ‘The Oak’ (my watering hole for many years pre Lingmell) or further up on the bridge. I’m a bit more familiar with KTams, was always a good chippy.

Dip reserva is absolutely first class, one of the best rums out there.

Yep, opposite the Oak, a bit further down. K Tams used to be great, really gone downhill recently though. Agree with you on Jimmys, always been good. Need to start a chippy thread!

Interesting one, picked up in Belfast last year and its from a local distillery. Its a slightly sharp golden rum, not exactly my flavour, but it's a good example of its type. Bottle is fantastic, proper skulldugger.

Learned this from a fella on the watch forum I frequent. Haven't tried it but sounds both interesting and refreshing.

A summery drink called the Chestnut Cup:

In a shaking tin with ice (per drink):
1 oz gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz orgeat
Shake for 20 seconds and pour over a glass with crushed ice.
