Have you seen the video of the shareholders meeting? Moyes seemed pretty sure when he said nobody was getting sold and that his chairman has never sold anybody without his say so.

Moyes doesnt lie as a rule.

Yes. Did you see the quotes last year where Moyes said Johnson wouldn't be sold?

Moyes would sell Lescott if he thought the price was good enough, no matter how much you love him.

Generally, Moyes seems to want to be honest. But yeah, he's not immune from spinning it in order to get what he wants. In the past this has culminated in him contradicting himself, as was seen during the contract debacle.

Fcuking sell . No question . He just isnt that good . Hes like a rabbit stuck in a headlight when its played over the top of him . Yobo for me everytime . 20 million ? Come on Bill put the word out .

Despite rumours in the national media that Joleon Lescott has asked for permission to talk to Manchester City, the Everton defender will travel to the United States with Everton tomorrow.

Everton head to North America tomorrow for their now traditional pre-season jaunt and face River Plate on Sunday morning (UK time) in the first of two friendlies over the next 10 days.

Contrary to reports in the Sunday rags, Lescott will be on the plane tomorrow with his team-mates and will join them in meeting Steven Pienaar and Tim Howard once across the Atlantic.

The full fist team squad will travel, including Joseph Yobo, although new signing Luke Garbutt is expected to travel with the reserves to Austria as they head for their pre-season training camp
