He said back in March he wasn't interested in City. He said again before going on holiday he wasn't interested in City, only going on holiday.

What is there to hide if Lescott wants to stay? Everton where quick enough to deny the recent takeover rumours but are slow in every other department, transfers being the slowest of the lot.

He knew how much as soon as City contacted his agent, round about 3 months before the season ended probably, maybe even last year.

Everton as a Club cant really say they are trying their best to keep him, he will want to see us making progress, by signing some players, I think thats what hes waiting for.
