I thought it was just a known fact that he sent him on loan to develop him and only brought in temporary cover in Sidibe because he saw Kenny as the long term replacement for Coleman.

Well if he was the future after a mixed year in Germany, you wouldn't expect him to get punted to the SPL with 2 years left on his deal, would you.

I’m not talking about last year, I’m talking about the 3 years previous where we refused to buy a long term right back. I think it eventually became apparent that Kenny is absolute mince and Brands’ judgement was horrible and he should’ve just bought a right back.

I think we can all agree that we should have bought a right back. I think we can agree that Kenny is mince. I think we can agree that Brands legacy has some absolute howlers in there. I'm not going to agree, however, that Brands saw Kenny as the long term future. If he did, he wouldn't have let his deal run down to 6 months before he left.

Im not wasting my time defending Brands, I just dont understand why people "make things up", theres enough that he did without inventing things.
