Absolutely (as you could be playing behind a poor defence), but save perctange does.

66% last season (this season it’s lower). It’s an average percentage.

He has a habit of exaggerating the dive...did this for the goal he conceded against Belgium in the World Cup Group game. Don’t know whether that contributes to a low percentage. His reach isn’t great either. His reactions are good, gets up quick etc, useful with his feet too.

Did nothing wrong yesterday but despite the media hype he is a very, very average 'keeper with some obvious flaws and really weird tendencies.

so? it's not like it's his fault for 21 of those goals, put de gea in goal and they still score double figures

the best he's looked in a while was whilst playing for England, why? because he had good solid defenders in front him

Even if you were right, there's an 11 goal difference between 10 & 21.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the odd save aside, he doesn't do enough. People say its the defences fault, well he's an important part of that defence and it's his job to organise what's in front of him.

He does organise what's in front of him.

The goals they scored yesterday came from mistakes which left the defence unorganised (and one was a world class finish, the other was offside).

He's one of our best players. It's mental we have our own fans so ready to turn.
