The record in £s is currently the fella at City at 35m.

I cant see us selling for less than 50m.
This is absurd and infuriating really. My mind is struggling with wanting to show an example and wanting money to buy more talent.

So maybe we should have kept Rooney?
Thanks,
I totally agree with the part where players want to leave. Hopefully Pickford wont. I guess I'm just desperate for us putting our foot down.

I dont think its a concern just yet, I mean sure the whole world will now keep an eye on him, if he improves and im not having a pop, he does have areas he needs to work on, but as he ages he could be a very, very good Keeper.

Just enjoy him, worry about the what if if it happens.

We had to sell. We were in bad financial trouble. His fee was a bit of a financial bailout.

For me we have so many problems with our squad that now is not the time to put our foot down with anyone.

As we already discussed we did it with Stones at the time it made sense...shame it didn't work out.

I'm constantly worried. It's Everton...

The gulf is just as wide. We simply can't do what City did...demz da rulez deez dayz.
Totally agree bud the gulf is huge. We missed the boat. Just don't think we're forced to sell now, our owner is not the wealthiest but we're more than comfortable.

Yeah, true. To be honest I agree with the anyone-part,but I must admit that seeing Coleman or Pickford leave as of recent events would be a blow.

Meh I remember the day we sold Lineker to Barca, I remember thinking why would he downgrade?

Stuff happens bruh, we get other heroes to worship.
There should be a football equivalent of music's "Greatest hits' in football, that you just could switch to on your TV to make you feel awesome and relevant again

I guess we've been so poor of late, especially last season, that I've just struggled to like individuals the way I have in the past.

Coleman restored my love of him when he triumphantly returned from injury. Had been a long time since I felt so good about a player.

Maybe Marco can solve the puzzle for us and make it all work. That would be the dream scenario.

I know what you mean. Coleman's comeback was really a needed one. It's been long since I felt like that . Even Lukaku's goals felt like a temporary thing. Weird maybe, but....

Lukaku was temporary because we regressed while he progressed. We were in an excellent position after 13/14. Had we kicked on as it appeared we were doing I think he'd still be here...along with Stones and Barkely.

False dawn/wasted opportunity. The league would be the Big 7 in a different world where things didn't go pear shaped for us.

Probably been posted already but:
