Dave my good man, don't worry about it mate. His save did turn the game, turned no points into a possible point and in turn we got 3 with a clean sheet.
I'd dispute that. Yes, it was important. But we didn't then immediately get fired up to win it. We went off the boil and came strong again. The manager's sub decisions were the real difference.

Did well enough today. I just wish they wouldn't have interviewed him on MOTD2. His arrogance to the fore again: "My save turned the game". Even if it did...and I dont think it did as we only got a head of steam up to any effect last 10 minutes...he shouldn't be CLAIMING the result.
Arrogance is the mark if confidence and a winner. I thought he came across as a young man at the start of a successful career & I hope he’ll be at Everton for a long time.

Great decisions by Marco for sure mate..

Really important pen save mate and as a player for Everton I think he was just saying it felt important. Sure felt important and like he was saying, Evertonians love a pen save or a good tackle....he's right there isn't he, not being arrogant at all as we all say it, that's what gets us going as fans sometimes.

Top keeper, working hard mate to be the best he can be. Won us a point or 3 today.

We need him to be arrogant, he is good, he knows he is good and so does everyone else, people are confusing arrogance with confidence. This lad is the real deal, and he's ours for once

You don't go the match telly clapper or in your Case telly whinger

When do we start to acknowledge that we have one of the best goalkeepers in the world?

World Cup semi-finalist, England's number 1 goalkeeper, up there with the very best in regards to distribution, penalty saving, reflexes, excellent organiser of his defence.

When he proves it over a sustained period of time, this thread is textbook example of how football fans like to over react when someone has either a good or bad game.
