The Clubs ambition is the key for players staying. We somehow have to gate crash the top 6 and show ambition to stay there otherwise good players will leave. If we are showing willing in trying to be a top team then half the battle is done unless Man City, Barcelona or Real Madrid show interest. Nothing to stop them going to them as they are the best teams in Europe probably. We would usually get a couple of seasons out of a real good player and no more unless we are showing genuine progress and by that I mean giant strides.

At least we seem to be making a tiny step in that direction...

This is an insane post to make. If you think anyone, ANYONE would spunk «far more» than 70million on Jordan effing Pickford you have really, totally, in no uncertain terms, lost the plot!
If anyone even says words similar to «70mill» and «Pickford» in the same sentence, Im sure Brands blasts one in his pants just based on the prospect of making money off of this hack keeper. Its insane how blind the English are towards their own. Switch out his and Robles’ passports, and I know a certain Jordan who’d be playing in for Betis in Spain, and a Joel being touted as the future of Everton.

When you know the source came from the paper in Liverpool no one likes,and other papers act like sheep,and again they are running a write up between pickford/De Gea on why hes the right keeper for man utd,you know its rubbish

They seem to really like Szczesny but if United can't get a deal done then they may move for him. The options are limited though which is strange for arguably the best keeper in the world but so many teams have let out huge cash in the last few years for a new keeper.
