Cheers mate I needed a laugh after my first morning back at work.

I hope you get your wish, it would be hilarious the amount of cryarsing about Silva switching it up to put a hologram in goal.
The descriprion 'hologram' had tea spurting outa my mouth.

Thanks for that

He's not reaching that with his leg mate. It's a good finish end of story.
I've seen GKs make routine saves like that ALL the time. It;s a telegraphed shot from Vardy. EVERYONE knew it'd be across Pickford and aiming for the far corner. The angle was a decent one to cut that cross body shot out...more especially with a leg extended. It was literally a foot past his left leg as it went past him.

How can anyone argue that chance and shot Vardy had gave the GK no chance? It maybe just reflects on the low expectations we have of Pickford.

Do you mean the ones mentioned above that played for the best teams in the league?

I'd love to know when he was laughing after the mistakes against Liverpool and Tottenham. I didn't see it.

You wanted him dropped, him being dropped requires Stekelenburg to come in. Now you don't want Stekelenburg, you need to make your mind up.

If there was a suitable back up I'd have no problem in dropping Pickford and taking him out of the spotlight. As there is none, then he will have to play his way back into form which is a difficult thing to do given the profile of the mistakes.
It's not about "making my mind up". Stek is the only option, a poor one,but do we just accept and hope for the better with Pickford? How bad must he get before getting dropped?

Begins at the back. The GK has to have the confidence of the defence. If you were a defender in that back line you'd fear what would happen if you'd been outpaced by a forward.

I have said a while ago I think as a club we overate Pickford slightly. As you and others have probably noticed I am quite defensive of most players, not one to throw them to the wolves but something doesn't quite add up with him. I am probably not as critical as you, but he gets quite an easy pass for me.

It's not just the mistakes (which can happen, god knows even Alisson at that lot has made mistakes and I would say he's the best in the country) but it's that he doesn't win us many games. Ask yourself in the year and a half he's been here, how many games has he won us? I think Stoke at home last season. Crystal Palace this season. Maybe Fulham where he makes a couple of good saves at 1-0? To me, for a goalkeeper at the level he purports to be at, it seems a small number.

It's in moments like we are in now, where a goalkeeper can make a huge difference. He can save shots that may not be easy, but are saveable to get you over the line.

I'll bene quite honest and say I don't think the lad has showed the form he had for Sunderland while here. And that was a young goalkeeper, in a woeful side. He has got 2 years older in that time and I sam not sure he's kicked on.

His performances at Sunderland were massively overhyped by the media. It looks all pretty when you're 3-0 down and you manage to keep it at 3 rather than 5 or 6. But his general ability as an all round goalkeeper was not assessed. His positional sense when we won 3-0 up there was nothing short of a disaster. I picked up on it, and if i remember correctly so did @davek. But people were more concerned with the heroics of him throwing himself
