I would be furious. Pickford is too sketchy, something Carlo knows. If he continues with Jordan, he needs to start taking some of the blame too.

Not much more I can add to previous comments. That crazy 3 or 4 minutes just summed him up really. Needlessly giving a corner away > flapping at a cross in the box and then fumbling his save which allowed the ball to go in. It was quite similar to the Jordan Henderson derby last minute goal that was disallowed? diving to his right with one arm, hand in a fist an attempting to sort of sweep the ball away to the side whilst looking good. Looking back he was very lucky to get away with the Henderson one , surely last night he could have dived with his body behind the ball with both arms and retain the ball or even use both arms to push the ball away? Hope Carlo doesn't have a blind spot, play Olsen , sell Pickford in the summer.

Hes such a good man manager he will be loathed to drop Pickford and ruin whatever confidence he has left. But to keep him in the side would be negligent.
When the goal goes in, watch how many of our players are absolutely exasperated with him that it goes in. Theres about 6/7 in one shot who you can see are absolutely livid. Very rare you see that kind of response but it was literally a "ffs, we've protected you pretty much all night and all you have to do is one average save and you can't even do that right"
Will I be shocked if he's picked Saturday? No. Will I be disappointed if his names on the team sheet? Yes.
Now is the time to give Olsen a run of Newcastle, Leeds, Utd and then Spurs as he would have been given the Cup game anyway.

Nah too easy to blame Pickford. It was a team performance and for a spell in the second half we invited way too much pressure onto ourselves and onto pickford. It was a mistake but his view was obstructed by a blue wall and I don't think he even saw it till the last minute. First half we executed the same game plan but did so well. Second half it was nervy and we didn't keep possession (especially when passing out from the back) and were punished for it. Just one of those things.
And there you have it. He was always going to cost us points & they were two massive ones last night. the only slight conciliation is we have had to wait a while.
Huge call for CA now, one suspects JP will crumble under a bit of pressure in the next few weeks, for me it should be Olsen's shirt to lose now.
