2020/21 Jordan Pickford

I’d happily see Pope here, but the fee would be crazy, Burnley would know we were desperate to replace Pickford.
But I don’t buy the “his distribution is crap” shouts.

I want a solid unspectacular goalkeeper that keeps a lot of clean sheets. Tippy tappy nonsense at the back is for Citeh, not us, we just don’t have the skills to do it.

I think Pope would do well for you, but as others have said - we’d want crazy money for him.

I think he’s got three years left on his contract and I’m not saying he’s worth this - but to us he’s probably worth £50 million. Same as Palace want silly money for Zaha because of his importance to them.

From the outside looking in you have the makings of a decent defence. Digne is a good player, obviously I like Keane and Mina seems to have settled down. A right back and a solid enough keeper and you have a real platform to build from.

This scenario is so irksome. It was extremely evident even before the last transfer window, he wasn't capable of being a top tier goalkeeper. Yet Everton embarked on a futile effort to rehabilitate and salvage his career, by bringing in competition. They could of averted this calamity through an actual replacement not another backup.

Should be dropped, won't be dropped and can't be sold. Get used to it as Ancelotti allows him to continue to make mistakes and doesn't seem that arsed!

Rachel brown - Finnis summed it up perfectly last night on BT . He can’t and won’t ever be the calm keeper that we need ..should of not been a corner , flapped at the cross and then should of saved the goal. Rest of the game he was calm and did ok. The rushes of blood to head usually after a mistake is the problem and the only way to fix it is play Olsen and hope he’s better

I think the mental side of it gets overplayed a bit with him. Yes he's fidgety and whatever and that's not great, but ultimately he's just not very good technically. He has major flaws in his technique and judgement which were always there but are now just being exploited more and more often.

I agree. I do fear that olsen has a mistake in him too but I doubt his mistakes would be as common as pickfords. Just seen one too many now from pickford and despite them dominating at the time they didn't have any real decent chances so pickford may have cost us the points there

Agree as well. We defended well and limited there actual chances ... Pickford made 2 other mistakes in 90 seconds before not stopping an easy shot that should of been saved easily. Needs to be dropped now .

Leon Osman: "So from Carlo Ancelotti’s side, he’ll feel, if you take the mistake out of the game, his team might have come away with a victory.

[Pickford] does have a tendency to make a mistake, and when he does he makes them in bunches.

He gets in his own head it seems, he sort of needs to make it right instantly"
