Don't you start haha

No keeper is saving that unless they gamble. If he gambled and conceded keepers side you'd be in here, rightfully, slagging him off.

That's a belter, if anyone's to blame its Holgate for giving it away.
The point is that we're sat here going "well it's a belter" basically every other week. It isn't about saving all of them, it is about saving some, and he doesn't.

He's not the only one who fails to step up and make something happen for us but he is one for the collection. Yes, DCL, Richarlison, the whole defense, the whole midfield all fail to have a moment of brilliance that wins us something too. Just don't ignore that Pickford is right there with them in the bin.

I get it you have your agenda so you see things to suit.

I do the same.

But he was pretty much faultless today. Have a day off.

My argument hasn't changed. Explain away as much as you want, he's bang average at absolute best, often below that, and we need to replace him now while someone might still buy him off of the England's #1 nonsense.

Today wasn't better or worse than anything that he's done the last two years more or less. He is who he is.

Bit stupid of him to offer up 3/4 of the goal to shoot at in the free kick. His run up suggested that's where it was going, 99% oh the time players will go there from that angle with their left foot. Why he was therefore standing all the way over to his right baffles me. If he was 2 metres more to the left he could have got to it.
Hahahaha my god. Pathetic. Blame Pickford narrative again.

Sorry to stick my nose in but I noticed something in the game and wondered if there was any merit to it.

From watch Pickford I get the sense that he has quite a manic personality, at least on the football pitch. He always seems to be screaming or darting about here, there and everywhere. Could that maybe create panic in an already fragile defence? I can't remember what minute it was exactly but it was certainly in the opening stages of today's game and he had a goal kick. A defender came deep to offer him a short option and he seemed to go mental at him to get forward. Just seemed a bit overkill and not the calm head that is needed in your current plight.

I think he's a decent keeper with some obvious flaws but as a neutral fan it just struck me as something I'm not sure I'd wanna see from my keeper. Although my keeper can't catch a cross to save his life lol

Completely agree with this, I think he clearly does unsettle the defence.

He's no different to most keepers and the least of Evertons problems. It's purely the inept individuals in front of him. Although they were better today on a whole, as usual moments of intelligence lapse cost

Top free kick and not many goalies would save that, generally his does ok considering what’s in front of him, probably the worst back four in the league
