At Sunderland, I never got the great hype around him. He was a good shotstopper but I didn’t think he was a great player. Even the likes of mignolet looked really good there but at Liverpool he looks suspect (while still a good keeper)

In the game at OT, frankly I would expect a keeper to save the lukaku goal. Leaving a huge gap in the near post isn’t something I would expect a keeper to do. He also kicked it straight to mata forcing Williams (I think) to concede a FK outside the box and thankfully for him the FK hit the post.

I wouldn’t expect a goalkeeper to be a great player if I’m honest. That’s one game, he has been consistently good this season, let down by the utter dross in front of him.

We can’t all be blessed with one of the best keepers in the world.

agree, it is a managerial issue at present. Lets hope it sorts itself out soon.

Well Martina gave away two goals so actually going by that reasoning, he cost us that game.

And niasse scored 2 so he done more,and Koeman made the substitution,so he is in on it as well,can go on and on.

Being goalkeeper in a team playing badly and low on confidence cannot be an easy thing to do.

Add to that he's effectively playing with half a defence in front of him, with the clown and Williams.

Every game those two play together, Pickford and the rest of the defence have to not only concentrate on the opposition, but also try to anticipate the mistakes that those two are gonna make.

Judge him when he has a proper defence in front of him.
