He has an ego the size of a country. Of course he wants it.I’d be all over it if it could happen but it depends if he still had the hunger for the PL

Get me a forty year old "scorcher", and do use that word.Ideally we need a 40 year old Jose Mourinho.
One a bit older with a point to prove to a few doubters would be worth a shot given our current situation.
No question. But it's a much easier job to manage a top Turkish club than a struggling premier league club. Hence the "Would he want it?" question. It's a different and much more difficult ball game. The Turkish league is proper gash mate.
I reckon that says more about spurs than mourinho , how many cup finals had he lost then ? Other than super cups I don’t it was any , I mean I think he’s lost one since and won what 18 altogetherRemember him at Spurs, gets sacked on the day of a cup final. Causes mayhem and chaos. Raffa Mk2. Also never had a team like ours,. Cheque book manager.
Hes a manager for teams that are ready to win something, imo. This “over the hill” nonsense.
He’s 4 years younger than Ancelotti.
This “there’s a reason he’s at Galatasaray”.
On the same basis no top club would have given Ancelotti a job after taking Everton.
Hes a serial winner and as others have said, he sets high standards.
I don’t honestly believe we will get him, but the fact that people are using lame and tired reasons not to are rather comical.
Mate one of his best mates in Football is Carlo.Carlo loved it here............ but when Madrid came knocking he moved on.I am sure Carlo will be having a word in his ear if it's even on the cards. No question. Ancelotti was suited to managing Real Madrid a lot more than he was to managing Everton, and the same applies to Mourinho. There is nothing at all in his CV that suggests he’s the man to improve a club like us. As I said in another thread earlier, it’s literally the exact opposite of what all the clubs people supposedly think we should copy - you know, the ones that are universally recognised as being well run - would do, and entirely in keeping with the mad ‘ooh he was good 10 years ago and is really famous let’s get him’ way we’ve done business to that’s left us circling the drain. This “over the hill” nonsense.

Jose, do you want £10 million a year to go lead Everton out of Goodison, which you adore and have done since childhood, and into that spanking new gaff theyve just built with the eyes of the world on you?No question. Oh, after 30 years, I'm very much ready to win something.Hes a manager for teams that are ready to win something, imo.
