I never understand people who do this.

This isn't a news site, its a forum where people discuss things, if you want Zirkee news, this isn't the place for it.

And as always, when something relevant appears, people will discuss it.

Why then when the mood takes them do mods go on about staying on topic and hand out bans for not doin so .
And on other occasions pay no heed at all .

I don't know, sometimes threads go off, I think as long as threads stay somewhat Everton related that discussion should flow, but sometimes there are pages upon pages of non Everton stuff or people having a proper ding dong.

Thats normally the point the mods try and regain control.

At the end of the day, I'm not a mod, I'm just a simple poster, so nobody should ever take notice of things I say relating to rules.

Another amazing response to the debate. I'm responding to actual posts with actual logic, your responses are "can you read?" and "you can't understand basic concepts". Put it this way, I don't think you'd cut it out as a teacher either.

The debate was that DCL was lucky to get the game time he's had - my response is that it's by design, not luck.

Kane relatively close to the greatest goalscorer of all time? "It's not difficult" lol Kane's a brilliant player, but very much a level below Ronaldo just like DCL is for Haaland so it's a fair comparison.

I've given you the three players who have comparable ability, all starting for some of the biggest clubs in the world in the best league in the world. If anything, that's goes for the argument of DCL being among the best of his age group. I'd say he's comfortably top 6/7 of all strikers ~25 years old.

He most definitely hasn't got that many pal, he's got 19 goals ( 16 league goals ) from 1/1/20 to now, very decent return but best in the world return? Million miles from it.

As fans we tend to hype up our own players but come on lad, this is delusional to think he's that good ATM.

The general idea is to treat this place like a decent boozer. Conversations ebb and flow in a pub, same here.

But if you were in the pub having a chat about a new striker, how he may turn out, how DCL worked out, what have other clubs signed, etc etc, then some fella burst into you chat and asked about what you all think of Trump or golf or whatever, you would be pissed off.

The other fact is we dont read every single post in every single thread. 5% would be my optimistic punt.

16 league goals in that time? Only 5 league goals in 2020 to the end of that season?

I'd imagine, since Silva left, very few strikers will have more none penalty goals than him.

Apologies, I am probably the worst offender!

I like the look of Zirkzee but can also understand why we won't break the bank for him. If he wants first team football immediately, probably better he goes to Parma.

If he wants to work under a better coach, and probably play in Europe, come here.
