You can't suggest he hasn't shown patience, he get's into the squad and scores against Chelsea to be shunned again and again. When Koné is getting a run out ahead of you then there is clearly something wrong.

Wasn't there talk of him showing petulence by throwing his gloves at Martinez at the weekend? Compare that to Lennon who sat biding his time when Deulofeu was keeping him out the side and had spent the better part of 18 months in and out of the Spurs team before he came here on loan last year

I think I'd throw more than gloves at Martinez if Koné was getting a game ahead of me

Lol, a facebook rumour is your evidence of him not showing patience.

Brilliant, you couldn't make it up.

?????? And unless I'm badly mistaken we didn't score any either! Osman over Mirallas (or even Pienaar or Baines!)........dear God!

Osman has, on many occasions in his career, come on late on and come up with a goal or a little pocket of space to provide an assist.

Again, the logic was there. We needed a player who can pick up those little pockets of space and make a pass. Mirallas isn't that kind of player - he's much more effective when he's got room to operate which we didn't have on Saturday.

the other thing i don't get with what is happening is that mirallas was a key player for us 2 years ago and before that. He was one of our best attacking threats in the team, then roberto drops him and so many people are fine with it, making reasons as to why he is dropped. There has been so many ifs and buts but very little opposition as to why he is dropping him and benching him? Perhaps it is just a bad managerial decision? He wants to bring others before him on? He doesn't rate him? etc

Perhaps this is just a mourihno and de bruyne/lukaku/mata situation?

No one knows the full inside story leading to so much speculation and anger. Until there's a statement from either or both parties then its just going to keep like that

It's about desire. He want's to play football, not sit on the bench. There is a major international tournament coming up and a 32 year old who can barely get in his own international squad is running on before him.

Then why did he not just ask for a transfer request and refuse a new deal? As I said no one knows exactly what's going on leading to wild speculation and frustration.
