Have you not been reading my posts? I've said I like Mirallas, he's one of my favorite players and I'm as baffled as anyone that he's overlooked but again I reiterate for like the 3rd-4th time now we don't know what has happened behind the scenes for him to be overlooked. That's not in anyway a defence of Martinez or a critique
And for the record I liked Naismith but he was very limited as a player and we got a great deal getting £8.5m out of Norwich

Why? Can't I like a player and criticise him at the same time?
Which, at the time, I was fuming at. But looking back, he took the ball because he was confident he was going to make it. Baines, after that United miss, looked really shaky. We were in a terrible run of form at the time. Had he scored maybe our season would have turned around? Its all hypothetical obviously but its absolute madness that he cannot get into the team. Kev is eligible and has played for the #1 ranked team in the world on the wings. How anyone can justify that playing Kone out of position in a game we were chasing is beyond me.

To be honest I don't think it's the penalty incident that's causing the issue because he continued to play after that. If it's a falling out then it had to have come on the training ground, what makes it worse is that if there is or has been bad blood between them why did Mirallas sign a new contract?
