Clearly not enough to just cut the head off the snake. Entire team needs to be evaluated and those not good enough punted.

Wish the guy well, he'll need it. If he has his wits about him, he will have taken the job knowing relegation was a distinct possibility, and not have swallowed the endless BS they'll have given him about this, that, and the other.

I would like to think he’s busy working on a plan A in the event we stay up, and a plan B if we get relegated. That would be a marked improvement on the past few years when everyone at Everton seems surprised that the transfer window has opened and start scrambling round to find players to sign.
