Brilliant we aren’t gonna let the man do his job then, just give him a kicking before he’s even got going

You need to get in early these days.Brilliant we aren’t gonna let the man do his job then, just give him a kicking before he’s even got going
Well, apparently, he's already offered a contract extension to one rabbit in the headlights...I’ll judge him on where we finish next season, I’m in no doubt he’s got a tough job on his hands. Maybe a few non glamorous signings are what we need, hoping he’s got a few rabbits in his hat
The timeframe for a DOF should be longerI’ll judge him on where we finish next season, I’m in no doubt he’s got a tough job on his hands. Maybe a few non glamorous signings are what we need, hoping he’s got a few rabbits in his hat
I think any fan who isnt aware that we havent got a pot to pee in should be paying attention a bit more.I think communication is key for him, if he tells the fans we haven't got a pot to pee in for two seasons then I think there'll be a better understanding of some of the signings.
Probably waiting for instructions from KiaGet to work you lazy lazy man.
I guess by that I mean staying up, if we go down we ain’t painting this as a win. Got to stay up.The timeframe for a DOF should be longer
Why does buying a player get spread over the length of the contract (50m over 5yrs = cost of 10m per year), but selling a player for 60m instantly deducts 60m off the debt, rather than 12m per year etc?I'll leave that to our billionaire accountant who turned over £300 million losses into £85 million!
All about book value anyway - DCL sold at £60 million takes our "losses" of **£85 million** to £25 million over the current 3 yr cycle (not factoring in this year just for arguments sake as we dont know what our accounts are for the current season just gone).
That would leave us £80 million away from breaking the £105 million limit - signing Tammy Abraham for say £50 million on a 5 yr deal would only be 10 million extra on this year's accounts (not including wages which would increase this).
Where fans get confused is thinking signing a player for £50 million means £50 million is on the accounts for this year which isn't the case its spread over length of contract.
A lot of deals done (imo) will have an eye on the next 2-3 years when a lot of our big earners are off the books and we are at BMD by then with much bigger revenues + potential naming rights deal on the ground.
Until we spend it on a bunch of absolute spannersIf we sell richarlison and kean this summer we will have a positive net spend overall in the last 3 seasons
