He’s come into an absolute circus of a football club, had to try & deal with a FFP nightmare & huge wages off the books.

The squad looks far more balanced than it did last year, age of it is better & on paper he’s improved the back 4 & midfield. The fact he’s not replaced Richarlison though will be something he needs to address ASAP.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now because he’s only been here 5 minutes & has a huge task but if this is the first managerial choice he’s getting, I’ll judge him off the “shortlist” he looks at. Give a good indication of what his vision is.

Once we get relegated there's just no way this fella survives after being a part of this crap show.
Definitely not but I do wonder how responsible he really is.
He almost certainly got Coady in which regardless of recent games was a big improvement overall on what we had and if he’s the guy who made sure we went in hard to get Onana then maybe he knows his stuff.

McNeil and Maupay are pretty unforgivable though even if the payments were favourably structured.

That’s fair. And maybe Danjuma will be that short term Richy replacement… though will it be too late

He would have recommended Vinagre for sure as well. So even if we give him the benefit of doubt, his transfer record so far is very very patchy
