How many perennial CL teams have 4 or 5 teenagers getting regular game time? My guess is zero. For a team with Everton's current ambitions I don't see how more than a few of the very best academy players can become first team regulars. Its interesting Dowell started the last few preseason games.I think he went for experience on Thursday.But I think he will be bled into the first team this year or he would have been loaned out by now, he could be this year's Davies if he siezes the chances.

I don't understand sometimes. Everyone wants us to sign new players, then fume when the kids can't get a game because of the new players we've bought.
