He was one of the best, but our superb clever planning suggested that he was 4th on the list of no10s after Rooney Gylfi Ross B ...in this current set up, I'm quite worried about our batch of young talented players
Hopefully we'll bring in a new manager who can integrate most of them to the squad/team. Problem is there are so many to accomodate at the same time.

Problem solved if Allardyce stays. They're all out.

I mean he’s never actually shown anything other than a sweet left foot has he?

I remember when Ledson was going to be a future England captain.

You mean the guy who's warming Man City's bench?

Exactly. I really dont know sometimes why these young players get impatient and move prematurely, before establishing themselves. Chelsea, Man City & Man U in particular are volatile clubs where you can be dropped just if the manager doesn't like the idea of playing you. I feel like Lukaku timed it right - 3 seasons of consistency with us, and then the move at the right time - though I don't think he'll make it to Aguero, Higuain, Shearer's levels - let alone Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar. But still it was timed ok and was good for everyone. Barkley, Stones, Rodwell, Jeffers...

Pep has rotated his CBs and his Strikers pretty much all season, its what a sensible manager that at 1 point was pushing for 4 Trophies does.

If your suggesting Stones made a mistake to leave a team going nowhere to join a team that has already won the League Cup, is about to win the League and is in the QFs of the CL, then I dont really know what to say to be honest.

I despair with what's happening at this club. It's just a dogs breakfast of competing characters with different agendas.

The place has broken down since Moshiri took over. He's been a disaster in governance terms.
TBF, our inability to bring players through effectively predates Moshiri. Think back to Dan Gosling's contract extension, letting Mustafi go, failing to sign Dier on a permanent deal. The weirdness surrounding the David Henen transfer.

Dowell should be in and around the first-team squad though next season.

But I thought he was the chosen 1?

Said all along he was pure JPK.

Another 1 called wrong by @davek

Meanwhile John Stones is about to win a League title.
:coffee::coffee::coffee:

The crescent.
Any half decent manager coming in this summer will bring Dowell back into the first team squad. If Allardyce remains then he'll be lost to us - and Lookman. Another reason to see the back of him.

But this failure to communicate with players out on loan is a new and alarming development. And I'm not just referring to that, it's the lack of governance in general: transfer policy, the inefficient hiring and firing of managers, the obvious failure of the DoF role that he himself insisted on bringing into the club, communication with fans via third parties like TalkSport and Dan Meis.......

If we were to go with 3 attacking midfielders next season, lets say first choice 3 will be Walcott, Sigurdsson & Bolasie (i would bin Bolasie but i cant see that happening), that leaves us with Vlasic, Dowell & Lookman as those 3 players back up, they could each get 20-30 appearances next season, which at 21/22 isnt bad going compared to other players there age.
By the age of 23/24 all 3 would be ready to displace the first choice 3.
Obviously that wont be the case as this is some sort of a plan/strategy and we all know that we are going to buy 6 right wingers and 14 left wingers this summer
