Kit for 24/25

Have gone for the old DH Gate version for the home kit, purely because I can't see how it can be any worse than the Castore one. Worth a punt for £12 or whatever it was.

My son tends to like the goalkeeper kits, so going to have a look at those in the club shop before the Roma game to see if £55 seems justifiable.
DH Gate is great in general, and they have probably about 30 kits from teams all over the world, each, but I aways bought genuine Everton ones. I'll not be this year, at least not until next March.

Anyone know when the kids kits are being shipped.

I ordered the away kit the day it was announced, and its still showing as processing

Personal opinion but I think the last round of Umbro kits we had was really hit and miss. Some of the badge stitching didn't look great either. The last kit they did ironically was the one I felt was their best in years. Ultimately though I think Hummel has been our best for quality and design.

Shame we didn't go with Errea, everything stitched aswell

Would love a kit like this

In terms of the badge, that’s 10 times better than the one we actually have on the current away kit.
For me, if it just has the Laurel wreaths either side of the tower it would be spot on.
To me the laurel wreaths either side of the tower are at the heart of the badge. I think any football fan would recognise that as, Everton.
Maybe something like this, but in the away colours?

This for me is another example of our fans again wanting to be this enormous club, but not really wanting to bear any of the disadvantages that comes with such a thing. If we want to pay 25 quid for our home kit, and 2 pound a pint, let Moshiri realise his vision and let’s take the team into league 2. The premier league is an expensive place. If we don’t want that, let’s not be in the premier league. Also, if you feel the kit is too expensive, don’t buy one. The kit is pretty much on par with other clubs in the league price wise. If we want to be in the same division we have to keep up.

I feel the same. To be honest, I hate seeing people complain about prices of non-essential items full stop. If you can't afford it, don't buy it. It's not water.

The kids argument doesn't wash with me either. It's a life lesson. We can't always get what we want.

I’ve heard the bottled water at BMD is going to be £12 for 330ml though.

£2 a wet in L2 you say 🤔. I'm all for it.

Yeah I tend to agree,

But I’d feel better about shirt and ticket price increases if we actually shown any sign of becoming this enormous club (new stadium apart) instead we’ve been mediocre at best for 30 years and offer mega contract deals out to bang average players.

Charging fans over the odds for anything really annoys me when we have absolute wasters on hundreds of thousands a week  but this is modern football I suppose.

Kids are after Beto 14 and Doucoure 16 this season on the kits. I've held out so far in case Beto goes, but do we think there is any chance of Doucs changing number? Onana's 8 is available? Got burned last season with one of them getting Iwobi before he left and had to buy a Mykolenko replacement 😂
In the meantime they've got Pickford 1 home keeper tops to keep them going, as I thought that's a safe enough bet!

Strongly disagree.

If it was something modern and attracted the interests of the modern youth fair enough. Dare you to go into the other side of the cities store and it’s literally a haven of their branding.

What do we get?

£100 for a pair of joggers which they sell for a third of the price on their website with Everton stuck on in smaller letters beneath it.

I remember seeing the players travelling to Ireland and thinking “they’re just wearing Castore tracksuits”.

Yes the club could be more commercially minded, but literally what Castore has produced? The kits will always sell but I highly doubt the other stuffs demand will meet the supply. If it does they’ll just get their cheap stuff and print Everton in small letters under it (it won’t).

If I went to another country and thought I’d get another teams merchandise, that stuff for that price would get laughed at. Nothing to compliment the club or show you’ve been to the local area of them.

Castore can get stuffed.
