Is it so hard to admit the following...

He wants to play for a manager who believes in him
He thinks Spurs are a better bet than Everton to win things
He wants to play in the CL and test himself against the best whilst our team are testing themselves against eastern European no mark outfits

It's just where we are in terms of development and the fact his own manager doesn't want him here.

He wouldn't have been offered a contract if the manager didn't want him Dave.

First dibs on yer locker Roscoe

Sell Quickly
Of course we'd want to sell quickly but we can't allow ourselves to be mugged off by Spurs or anyone else. It would cost more then anything we'd make by selling him in a hurry, he has to go on our terms. If not then he can rot, I wouldn't even let him train with the kids. If Ross and the club trying to buy him think they can't take the mick out of us I'd rather we took the loss and the club paid Barkley to just stay away from the club and the training facility's. Yes that's spiteful but it serves a purpose of making clubs and players realises not to take us for fools.

Said my my response earlier in the thread,
Really wanted you to do so well for us in a blue shirt
I will miss the chant that's all.
But any way lads our new season starts tmorra
Got my tickets to cheer on the new faces and those who are
Staying on for the new season.game on coyb

Disagree entirely.

He wants a manager who'll massage his ego and tell him he was ace even when he was crap. That's why he was good under Martinez.

I was sad for him when he gave away that pen against Blackburn and everyone hammered him, think he got subbed too.

I was annoyed when Warnock had him and kept slating him.

I was frustrated when Martinez kept calling him a diamond but he never produced.

I won't be bothered if he does leave as he still doesn't have that killer instinct and I doubt he'll get in it the next couple of years.

See you Ross, enjoy sitting on the bench some where.
