Koeman: "Barkley looking for a new challenge"

The way I see it, he just doesn't get on with Koeman. I think your boss will affect the way you feel about any job.

I think Ross's best bet will be to go abroad, maybe to Italy. If he stays in England and wants to start regularly he'll be looking at West Ham or maybe Leicester.

Is it so hard to admit the following...

He wants to play for a manager who believes in him
He thinks Spurs are a better bet than Everton to win things
He wants to play in the CL and test himself against the best whilst our team are testing themselves against eastern European no mark outfits

It's just where we are in terms of development and the fact his own manager doesn't want him here.

But that isn't a fact is it? It's your opinion (despite the contract offer and statements from Koeman saying he wanted him to stay)
You have repeated it that often in an attempt to convince others that you can no longer differentiate between your own spin and actual facts

Seems to me he's leaving for personal reasons. There's not many Evertonian's who would say he is fulfilling the potential he's always shown - largely to do with the mental aspects of his game. I'm sure he is more than aware of this too.

He's been here all his life, maybe a fresh start is what he needs. I doubt he's taken the decision lightly either. What a shame that he can't do it with us though. Best of luck Ross.

he'll stay in the prem

Heard someone in telling a Chelsea fan that today, that he's next for Conte.
D'you know what mate, if that happened this window I'd hardly bat an eye lid. It'd be a season or so ahead of usual sell on schedule for us, but under the scorched earth player sales policy of Moshiri I suppose it would make perfect sense.

True. It isn't a factual statement. But it's one based on the undoubted welter of statements by Koeman concerning how Barkley had to change and what he was doing wrong...something no other player (outside of the disgraceful treatment meted out to Niasse) had to put up with.
