Fergie was a genius. Koeman is not a genius.
RK has won very little - it's his team now let's debate him in January eg where we are heading etc this is big season his team etc bitching on here on a Ross Barckley thread is not the time or place - we have more signings to make more players to leave it will be RKs squad let's see how it goes !
I can say I hope it goes well - let's see!

I've no idea where he's going to go as i can't see a club that makes sense, maybe Spurs with Alli and Eriksen but Pochettino loves Son's work rate and unselfishness which is why it balances, Arsenal if Sanchez leaves..?

It's a tough one to envisage.

He's not even been in the first team long to get stale tho lol well this league anyway still got to improve his game etc. something isn't adding up in all of this I can bet my bottom dollar on it

I've said it several times for me it's obvious. The World Cup is next summer. He hasn't gotten a sniff in over a year. I reckon he wants CL football to hopefully get a place in the team.

The one team that could pay him £150k a week to be a squad player?

BlooooMoooooooonnnnn.....

Thing here is that there are two ways that could go. Just by moving to one of the top 6 he is far more likely to be picked. But if he spends the season on the bench then how is he going to break into the team.

Spurs are the most likely destination it seems and Alli is the one that is seemingly keeping him out of the England team.

I said it right at the beginning of the thread and will say it again. This is a bad career choice for him. He doesn't get into any of the teams above us. Unfortunately for him if we get Sigurdsson he doesn't get into ours either

I'm not saying it will work for him but for me it's the only logical reason.

Ha Ha Ha.

Ok mate. I'll leave it at that. You must be tired after your journey home from the hair splitting convention.

Ah yes yet another silly childish response from supposedly the smartest person on here.

Don't let your hate for Koeman and Moshiri shade the truth for you. Barkley wanted to leave not the other way around. He simply refused to sign a contract. No one wants him to leave but if he refuses to sign a contract then they transfer list him. Technically they are not asking him to leave. They are granting him his wish to leave. But sure its splitting hairs

Zero bids for an inconsistent player. He is 23 and has done pretty little really. I wish him all the luck in the work. I hope he doesn't regret leaving.

No one banging down the door to get Ross. Like Rom he's a super star......in his and his agents mind.

Think Koeman has handled this situation the right way. Told Ross sign or move on. He didn't sign and has been given no love and rightfully so.

Ross needs someone to feed his ego not someone who calls him on his faults and tries to force him to be better. Good luck, take a seat cushion for the bench you'll be sitting on.

except Rom is a 20+ proven PL scorer at 23 and was the subject of a 75-90m bid from the team with the most titles in England. Ross hasn't accomplished anything and will ride the bench at teams above us as you've said. Really don't think Ross and Roms situations are comparable at all
