someone will take a shot on him at 20-25m just based on "potential" and the fact he's homegrown and English
 

you'd think his agent has been getting offers from somewhere and Barkleys head has been turned otherwise there's no reason for to not sign. He must be expecting someone to come in for him. It'll probably be Spurs and they'll probably assume by leaving it as late as possible they can get him cheaper. There may be one or two other teams watching and waiting to see who makes a move.

That says it all about his ability to be honest. Plenty of talent, no ability to translate it into winning football games. He'd do well for someone like West Ham.
